I am LOVING this new watch!!!

i have had several different samsung watches. i have not been disappointed in any of them! this one however is so far my favorite! i am using the watch active 2 and this one regularly. what i love most is that i am visually impaired and i have no problem reading this screen. so far my watch lasts about 2 days on battery. good job samsung!!!!!! thank you!!!!!

step count is much more accurate than the original galaxy watch. the battery is terrific. lasts me two whole days although i use every feature from oxygen level to sleep. as for the down side, the original watch gave you total calories burned and told you the amount burned during activities. the 3 doesn't. and i am anxiously waiting for the ecg.

coming from the already good active 2 and i am so happy. love the bezel, whole watch looks more professional to me. great battery life, and overall loving the leather strap that came with.

the watch has lived up to my expectations. battery life is very good. the rotating bezel works great. battery life is dependent on app management of power resources from app designers to be up to par. the watch is quick, responsive, very functional. i waited past the active versions for this model. it certainly was worth the wait.

Great watch, iffy band

this watch is a great upgrade from the previous watch. my only complaint is the quality of the band. washing my hands caused the band to stain white and won't come off. very disappointed.

i've never worn a watch, but i received an award from my employer and this was an option, so i chose it. the watch is comfortable. i really enjoy being able to glance at it when a text comes in. it does a lot than i will ever need it for, and i imagine it will take some time to find the useful ways to integrate it into my life.
i'm not sure how much weight to give the ecg and sleep monitoring though.
overall, it is a nice piece and i am having fun learning how to use it.

Disappointing battery vs 46mm GW

short battery life is a issue. hopefully the fitness tracking is better than the gw 46mm
positives:less bulky than 46mm gw. easier to sleep with. it feels much lighter on my wrist. smaller bezel
the leather strap conforms better than the silicon. sweat/water resistance tbd

con: biggest issue is the short battery life. i use for refereeing. i could make it thru a full day of active use w/the 46mm w/tons of battery life left. 4+ days before a charge
this battery drains quickly. i'll be lucky to get more than 2 days before charging haven't used the gps features yet.
better features mean nothing if the watch is always dead

i hope the quick draining battery is a software issue & not a design issue
i'll come back in a couple of weeks with an update
