i bought this watch as a present to myself about 1 month ago. i also replaced my frontiers3. so far i'm impressed! everything about it is better than the frontier and i loved my frontier. it responds better. it monitors better. the speakers and microphone also seem to work better all and all i'm very happy with the purchase. also, i'm a pool guy so i have tested it in the water. it seems to be holding up so far. i do like the water lock feature and the expelling of water with sound. this watch gets dunked quite a bit through out the day but so far it hadn't seemed to affect it.
i also used the trade in deal with my frontier. that also was very easy and worked out great.

this is my third samsung watch (s2 and s3 frontier) and clearly the best. processing speed, screen clarity and phone integration are five star worthy. my only complaint is that the screen is still subject to scratching from incidents to minor to even notice when they take place. i would have given the watch a5 star rating otherwise.

this watch is my first experience with a smartwatch, and i don't regret it. this watch is easy to use with a small learning curve. i love to have the option to check my steps, messages, and email without pulling out my phone. the only problem i had was the watch band. it was too small and i had to get a new one before i could wear it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Watch Is Okay - Wireless Charger is Garbage!

the new galaxy watch 3 is nice but nothing much different from the watch released in 2019. i know they added some new sensor features, which is nice i guess, and they added several new fitness features (yawn), and i do like the leather band. however, the battery life of the watch 3 is barely adequate, and the included wireless charger is a complete piece of garbage! come on samsung! you charge hundreds of dollars for a watch that is almost a step down from last year’s model, and then you don't even provide a decent wireless charging stand? instead you provide only a small charging puck with a usb cable that is way too short! what happened to the impressive packaging and the nice desktop chargers samsung has always provided in the past? i guess greed got the best of them with this model.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

love this watch . have been using samsung watches since gear s2 and i love the rotating bezel and the just pure quality of the product . the future of this line is definitely exciting and im glad to be a part of it .

i'm basic user. i've owned all the versions of the samsung watch line-up and the is the best so far. crisp screen, no function lag, works well overall. huge improvement over the s3? not exactly. the new watch is much lighter which is okay. i liked the heft of the s3. my only beef is battery life. i could go 5 days on the s3 and i'm lucky to get 3 days out of this one. not a huge deal but worth mentioning.

i had a gear frontier, and this is so much better. vetter battery life. buttons are metal and much more responsive. you can use many different messaging apps. it doesn't only sync to a certain one. doesn't look like a smart watch, which is really importantfor me. would definitely recommend it.

Good design except...

it feels as good as my previous (galaxy watch) but the battery life, by far is much worse!!!!
same settings as before and i would routinely get about 3 days between charges. however, the new galaxy watch 3 i find that i really need to charge daily.
another thing i have don't like as much is the charger; it was pleasant to see the full-charge indicator and i preferred the upright sitting charger stand.
last rant; i heard ekg was approved so why is it not in us firmware yet? i'd think they would have had this ready to go!!
i guess i'd summarize as this; the watch is really good, i'll give it 3 steps forward for features (including an expected ekg). but for batter life, one full step back!
I would recommend this to a friend!
