Same Galaxy Watch, worse battery

the galaxy watch 3 has the same great features of the galaxy watch (2), but a worse battery life than its predecessor. 100% charge with optimized functions on previous watch got 3 days and 18 hrs average. new watch gets 2 days 11 hrs average on full charge with same settings. the battery life was a real disappointment.
the leather band is comfortable but it is not suitable for an active lifestyle. the default rubber band in previous watch better. previous galaxy watch charger not compatible with galaxy watch 3.
buttons protrude and can catch easier than previous version. but i get the look is suppose to be more watch-like.
good watch, but any added feature is not worth shorting the battery life as much as they have. maybe better luck with the next version.
I would recommend this to a friend!

still not speedy enough, but definitely better than my old active 2. my main complaint is i would like more control over what the buttons do. complaint aside i love it and would recommend it to anyone looking for an android compatable smartwatch.

Great Looking watch

i exchanged my s3 frontier for the watch 3! everything works perfectly. the only reason why i deducted a star is due to the fact that the watch is not compatible with the gear s3 charging dock! i loved the led light indicator on the dock versus the puck design they use now.
I would recommend this to a friend!

i've had apple watches, and i've had a galaxy watch active. the galaxy watch 3 is the best so far. i'm still trying out all the features. the design is amazing compared to my previous watches. the battery last way longer too. i keep it optimized but i get close to 2 days worth. the speaker is great as well. my active didn't have a speaker at all. missed having one until now. and the bluetooth connection stay connected way better than the active. i work at a bank and i'd keep my phone on the counter in my window, walked barely 8 or 9 feet away and i'dloose connection to my s10. totally recommend this one.

what i don't like,
-the battery life. i have a garmin 3hr and i go 7-8 days before battery has to be charged. i get 2.5 days per charge without "always on" on the watch 3.
-should be a little bit tougher. it's easy to scratch. i've had this watch for 3 days and looks like i have had it for awhile. my 3hr is 3 years old and doesn't look this bad.
-bp hasn't been implemented yet. the a2 was the same thing. advertised features, but don't actually have them.

all the reviews seem to be on the positive side, but this wouldn't be the first watch i would recommend to friends even though i like it.

the 45mm size is ideal. the galaxy3 is also noticeably thinner then the prior generation. .

this is my 1st smart watch. so i had no idea what to expect. so far though i must say that i am not disappointed! it's very comfortable to wear and the battery life isn't too bad as long as you shut off all the extras that you really don't need to run all the time. the screen is clear and easy to read. the rotating bezel is great and makes for easy navigation in addition to the touch screen. voice texting works quite well and makes for returning texts easy and pretty accurate.
I would recommend this to a friend!
