overall much better experience than the original model. health tracking is on par or better with competitors. bixby is more responsive and the usefulness has increased by a factor. watch looks great and feels good on the wrist all day. the only time i take it off is to charge it!
I would recommend this to a friend!

i bought the mystic black but both are good. i love my new watch to the point i’m planning on upgrading my phone to the galaxy s20 or 21 soon to unlock all features. calls sound great on it. its very comfortable wth the leather band. mine only lasts about 1 and a half days but ive got it set to constantly moniter things and i play music that is loaded on its internal storage. its really snappy and as far as ive tested its pretty accurate. it is expensive but less than the apple watch.

i've had apple watch1, 2, 3, galaxy watch active 1, 2, frontier, fitbit, etc but this is gotta be my favorite because of it's looks(it looks like a watch, not like a toy) and it's amazing battery life

i'm am getting ready to return this, as it has brought me a week of frustration.
first, note that this watch is in the new wave of samsung being cheap- no band is included. the charger lies flat, unlike the gears3, so it does not function as a nightstand alarm.
battery life is, as mentioned, inferior to predecessors.
this watch has more memory, but even more bloat- on startup, i had less available memory than my gear s3.
bp measurement is still unavailable in the us, over 6 months after release. stress measurement is weird, and clearly does not reflect any stress measurement with which i am familiar (and i am a physiology professor!)
finally, the nfc seems to be difficult. i have spent days trying to troubleshoot it, with no luck.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great watch, until it wasn't

so this was exactly the watch i wanted. comfortable, great features, and long battery life for my use. for the first 3 months i could go 4-5 days between charging. then it has been downhill. over the past 2 weeks, i can barely make it 2 days between charging. the problem? nothing has changed. it has not recently updated and there are no new updates available. i have followed samsungs recommendations, turned the watch and phone off and on. turned off all sharing settings. reset the watch. still the same. overall i am very disappointed. the long battery life was the reason i bought this watch in the first place to if that is what you are looking for, beware.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

this watch looks amazing and functions very smooth. i've always had galaxy watches and this one is the best so far. i loved my s3 frontier but i'm glad i made the choice to get this.

i really like this watch, it a great step up from the galaxy 2. i does twice as much and it is battery has lasted twice as long as the 2. really like all the health tracker options it has.
