Solid Android Smart Watch

With a wide selection of watch faces and Samsung's health app, this watch offers the essentials of what makes a smart watch a smart watch. With Apple watch leading the market in wearables, the Galaxy Watch 3 holds its ground with it's feature of it's rotating bezel.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had smart watches from the days of Pebble watches (I have a few). My more recent watches were Fossil with Android Wear, an Apple watch and two samsung Galaxy watch 3. and one other samsung without the rotating bezel.
What I like about this watch. I have the 45mm. Initally I purchased the smaller one but it was too small for my wrist. I needed more substantial watch.
Things I love about this watch.
2 day battery life. (apple and fossil only provided 1 day of battery life)
Rotating bezel. I use it doing construction or working in the garden. I'll usually be wearing gloves. I don't want to take off my gloves. I rotate the bezel and i can read my notification and use some functions on the watch. I just wash the watch under water when I'm done with my dirty work.
If you get a notification and lift your wrist within a few seconds the notification is visible without even touching the bezel or screen. That's great to quickly glance and see what it is. I will often be at my desk working and hear a notification and I'll check my watch first to see who the email is from or text message because it's easier to rotate my wrist than move screens around or unlock my phone. I love this watch.
I'm using it with a samsung S21 phone. Works great. Fitness app and coach work great. ECG, heart rate, exercise logging all work great.
I used to use my apple watch for taking and making calls alot, especially when i was at the top of a ladder. I don't use this that much in terms of functionality. The integration with google assistant is not perfect unlike a pixel phone or the apple eco system. However the other day my hands were full and i could not get to my phone, i was able to answer a call on my watch and conduct a conversation flawlessly so it certainly supported me when i needed it. With my fossil watch I was able to push and hold a physical button, yell at the watch to "call ..... " and it would initiate the call and I'd use my watch for the conversation. This was helpful during home renovations when I'm up a ladder and my hands are busy and I need something That worked great. I've not really used that function with this watch because there is no physical button to launch the assistant. With the long battery life and rotating bezel I love this watch. I don't want to ever have a watch without the rotating bezel.

The leather strap on watch 3 lets me use it with formal clothes as well. I was hoping to get continuous BP monitoring with this watch but is still a good watch without it

Good But Could be better

I just wish it had more apps that worked properly available for it. also, the Samsung health app tracker tends to take forever to register that I am working about which leads to inaccurate tracking.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought them about a week ago and they are ok! If you have the buds plus I would save your money! They are a little better sound quality than the plus. Bass is a little deeper! The plus has a more secure fit! If you don’t have the plus I would buy that unless you must have the latest and greatest!
