Full Featured Smart Watch Experience

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After wearing the Gear S3 Frontier watch for several years and loving it, I decided to upgrade to the Galaxy Watch 3. Happy to say it keeps what was great about the S3 Frontier and makes it better.
One of the best things about the watch is the rotating bezel. It's by far THE best interface on any smartwatch. It's intuitive, easy, and precise - and unique to Samsung's smartwatches.
The screen looks great and is plenty legible in outdoor sunlight. The touch screen is also very responsive. Another big plus is the availability of thousands of custom watch faces via 3rd party apps, many of them free.
Physical activity tracking works very well. I run regularly and the watch's gps tracking is accurate. The watch does a good job of detecting activities too. Sleep tracking is accurate and informative, and the addition of features like SpO2 tracking and ECG reading are appreciated.
Messaging and notifications are extremely full-featured and well-developed. This is one of the areas that distinguishes this watch from some lesser smart watched. You can read messages and reply using the screen or voice. You can also, of course, take calls directly through the watch without handling your phone.
The watch looks great - similar to the S3 Frontier but a bit less "outdoors" and a little classier thanks to the silver body. It's also really well-made and durable. My S3 Frontier is 4 1/2 years old and still going strong, and I expect the same longevity from the Galaxy Watch 3.
The battery life is also improved from the S3 Frontier a bit. I had to charge that one nightly, but I can consistently get 2 full days from the Galaxy Watch 3 without issue. There are other smartwatches that go longer, but those don't have the rich feature set that this one does.
Overall, another great smart watch experience. As long as Samsung keeps that rotating bezel, they'll be tops for me. But there's a lot more to like about this one.
