Well a couple days after our cleaner arrived, our adorable little dog decided to bless the carpet..... (which is a light colour) Pulled out Little Green... and voila! all cleaned up in no time! So happy I purchased it!

Unfortunately she has left a few messes in the house, one was diarrhea which I thought would leave a permanent stain on my carpet. After 2 uses, the stain was gone. I used the Bissell solution with Oxyclean which took everything out. I am so pleased with this carpet cleaner that I had my daughter buy one for her new home.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have two other older Bissell carpet cleaners, an older canister for large jobs that has worked literally years, an upright Bissell for lightly soiled traffic areas and now this little green machine for my cat's hairball gifts that tend to leave stains from the dye in dry pet foods. This little machine did the job for tiny areas and I tried it on carpeted steps, I am happy to say, that was an added bonus because the new tools allowed for doing the rounded edges and corners as well. Dirt was removed! Cleanup was very easy compared to my upright and the big cumbersome canister. Everything rinsed easily, into a pail under the bathtub tap and I flushed it avoiding clogging the drain. I used the small amount of remaining cleaning solution with some additional hot tap water to clean the hose with the self cleaning tool. Wonderful. The size of the machine is still 12x10 by 15 inches high assembled size, so it takes storage space. Cleaning the hardware has always been a necessary process because it removes dirt! Once the canisters are filled I imagine this covers a fairly sizable area, like stairs with one fill, so don't fill completely for one little hairball or accident!
