HATED this product from my first use

First, let me say that I have had, worn out, and LOVED two Little Green Machines. I bought this product thinking it would be a step up from my LGMs. Not so much! I HATED this product from the very first use. I would NOT recommend it. The hose is so rigid that it was extremely inflexible. It had curves from conforming to the shape of the machine base & the curves did not open up during use. Not surprised then that the hose split after just a few uses. The tanks leak and drip when they have liquid in them. This was a HUGE deal with the dirty water tank after cleaning up a nasty dog mess. This was a horrible purchase. I always dreaded using it. I lost a lot of confidence in Bissell products because of this bad experience. I'll go back to a Little Green Machine for now but if the quality of that product has declined, I'll look to other manufacturers for a solution to my pet cleanup needs.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've only used this product twice so far, but are we ever impressed. Even on materials that you think are clean, and are cared for regularly, you'll be surprised how much dirt it can pull out. Our recommendation for anyone looking to use this is to ensure you apply enough pressure when you are using it. If not, you might leave uneven streaks on your surfaces (eg: couch fabric) and decrease the cleaning surface area. Overall, very happy with it! #sweepstakes
I hate using this, it stinks up the room every time I use it no matter how often I clean it.

Hi Jay - this odor is likely caused by bacteria from the machine being stored while parts are still wet. Before putting it away, suction hot tap water through the hose to clean it out, then empty and rise the dirty water tank. This should remove all the unwanted dirt, pet hair and lingering odor from the hose and tank. Let all parts air dry completely before putting the machine back together and storing it. Hope this helps!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a boxer and a french bulldog. I also have cream carpet, that was in the house when we purchased it. It is portable and easy to clean up little messes.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this for my husband. He details cars and loves it. He loves how portable it is and that the water stays hot. He loves the quality of the machine and the brushes. We also have used it to spot clean furniture and mattresses from our little boys accidents And it works amazingly. We cannot be more happy.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this for my van. I have used it twice so far and it's been great! It's light, portable and cleans well.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really liked how it cleaned up our stairs - the amount of dirt that came out was shocking because I vacuum constantly! I bought it thinking I'd use it on larger surfaces but it's a bit energy intensive/the brush is small to do that so definitely recommend for smaller items like stains/stairs - not large surface areas like a full carpet. I couldn't get the stains out of our couch but it did look better so I'll give it another go and see if a second session gets it all clean.
