The heat technology makes me think that I need to pour hot water to mix with the detergent, but in the manual, it didn't mention anything about water temperature. When the water is cold, I think it didn't clean very well...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't know if the satisfaction of brown water in the 'dirty' side of this magical machine is horrifying or exciting (probably both). This is great for finicky areas like the stairs and fabric chairs. I am excited to see how it does with the fabric seats in my vehicle. This would be a bit time consuming to use on large areas, but works very well for small spaces. And you can open up all of the parts to clean well afterwards. Very happy with this purchase!

I bought this for some pet stains compliments of my aging dog. I like the suction and it cleans pretty well, but not a whole lot better than manual scrubbing. In spite of the name and the fact that SOME models heat water, this one does not. I guess I just assumed that it did, given that it is called pro-heat and one that I borrowed from a friend did indeed heat the water. It does keep the water hot if you put hot water in, so there is that. UGH
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
