I did one area of my wall to wall carpet with high traffic and already it is looking much cleaner. Can't wait to do the rest of the carpet areas.

We have a new puppy who is not fully trained so I bought this to clean up his messes. I cleaned a spot on the basement carpet and could not believe how gross the rest of the carpet is but more importantly how CLEAN the carpet was after using this little machine.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The dirty water tank is leaking from under the machine, tried to reassemble everything but still leaking. Really disappointed.

Really disappointed with this Bissell product

Just purchased this from Canadian Tire. I do not understand why it has 'ProHeat' as part of its name, and features 'Heatwave Technology'. It neither heats nor maintains the temperature of the very hot water I filled it with. The water comes out stone cold, and certainly not able to clean simple stains on a piece of furniture.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Left a horrible ring/stain.

I used this to clean a spot on my sofa's bench cushion and "skirt". Left a horrible, unsightly halo/ring/water stain which is bigger than the original spot I was trying to clean. This is an custom-made $3K sofa. Very disappointed. Having it professionally cleaned and hoping this Bissell machine didn't do any permanent damage.
