I really like this cleaner. I did originally purchase it for two reasons, one to clean the carpet on our stairs and two to clean our couches. It worked great on the stairs even without the stair tool being as my model did not come with that product. It did not work as great on the couches. The couch cushions have covers that come off anyways so I purchased to be able to clean the backs and the arms of the couch. It did not do a great job on those areas in my opinion. For the price though it is worth it just to have for the stairs. Especially with a dog who every time he vomits chooses the carpeted stairs landing as the ideal place lol

Was able to clean off a couple years of spill stains from the family couch and a ton of dust on a lounge chair that came from storage. The suction is amazing and leaves the couch quite dry so that you can sit on it after half a day or so.

I bought the Bissell Spotclean Little Green to clean up little messes and car interior. The first time I used it, dirty water leaked and sprayed out the hose where it connects to machine. Repaired the faulty product. Still leaked. Everything I cleaned up in one area, dirty water was deposited where the machine sat. Terrible product. I do not recommend it. Waste of money as it was thrown in the trash on the third use.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great tool for pet spots

I really like the compact form factor, we have been keeping this unit near by on standby for when a pet accident happens. In the past we have owned larger full sized Bissell pet carpet cleaners, but those units were always a chore to bring out and get set up. The Pro Heat name is down right deceptive, there is no dedicated heating element in this unit. Instead they have a "heatwave technology" which from what I understand vents the passive heat which is generated from the vacuum motor. The idea is that you add Hot water to the unit and it helps maintain that temperature. The Bissell engineers and designers have done a great job building this unit. Its construction is of high quality materials and it's well thought out on how to fill and dump. The canisters just click into the correct location, I can see this unit lasting for along time. Just do not leave water in it or put it in a cold garage. Note: this unit does not have the motorized scrubber, it's uses old fashioned elbow grease, which is less moving parts = longer life span
