I can't believe I waited this long to purchase this product. The day it arrived I jumped right in and it removed pet stains on my carpet I couldn't scrub out from over 6 years ago. I've since cleaned my couches and other upholstery with ease. The hose does leak a bit but not enough to deter me from giving this product a 5 star rating. Well done Bissell!

It does nott clean deep enough, even after several passes. It also leaves behind an enormous amount of water in carpets and furniture after several passes which attracts dirt as it dries. When you only suck up 1/2 of the water you use, it makes you wonder if doing it by hand would be better.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great little product and I couldn't have been more pleased with the process. Bravo! I cleaned my staircase first thing and I found that it did a great job. The tools were easy to use. The unit could have used a different cord, it's too short to use without an extension cord for most applications, but the cord is long enough to get in the way. I would have liked to see a retractable cord or just a small stub, seeing how you would likely need an extension cord anyway.
