[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The machine was a lifesaver initially and worked great the first several times we used it and then it began leaking. We thought we had figured out how to still use it to avoid the leaking and just thr other day we pulled it out and it's completely unusable. In fact it made more of a mess in our house as it leaked everywhere with the cleaning product in it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this to clean wine stains and dog potty accidents. This is excellent at cleaning wine stains but I did not feel like it really penetrated down to the urine stain left by my dog. I even used the PET PRO OXY Spot & Stain Formula for Portable Carpet Cleaners and still noticed a faint urine stain afterward. I had to use a different product altogether to clean this. I am disappointed as the dog messes are the primary reason I purchased this product. Otherwise, this is easy to use and easy to clean.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This one is much lighter and easy to use. The attachment quality is definitely not the same as our old unit but we will see how they hold up. #Sweepstakes

Hose design lacking

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love that I can pull this out of the closet to clean and it does a good job cleaning HOWEVER the hose has cracked by the handle! I looked at some of the other reviews and I see that we aren't the only ones with this problem. I believe the problem is two fold- inferior material and design flaw. The hose is placed in a stressed position to hook it into the clasp provided. I also noticed that a replacement hose is not available!?! Really! The important part of this cleaner and you won't provide a replacement! Come on BISSELL!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
