[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this as a gift for my boyfriend. The hose has always been stiff but today it snapped. I cannot find a replacement hose. If I'm able to find a replacement hose or replace the machine for a decent cost, I would definitely rebuy and recommend the machine. If I'm not able to do either, then I wouldn't recommend it. It was handy to have for when our cats would get sick or when he wanted to detail cars.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love small carpet cleaners, but this one disappointed me. To me, ProHeat means there will be some form of warming of the water, no. It's cold water always which does nothing to help get the stains out. It's small and compact with a good design, I guess I'm just missing my little green machine.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi Tay. If you put warm water in your machine, HeatWave Technology provides a constant source of heat to help maintain water temperature throughout the cleaning process. We recommend filling the clean tank with hot (140°F/60°C MAX) tap water. Hope this helps!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bad reviewers almost made me not purchase. Glad I didn't listen. This is an amazing portable carpet cleaner. It simply shoots hot, soapy water while maintaining the water temp and then sucks it up. I pretreated stains with Bissel Spot + Stain soap and followed manual instructions. I filled tank with 140 degrees F water (used thermometer) and soap. Fifteen minutes of cleaning (without turning off), temperature was 130 degrees F. The results were amazing! I was worried about the soap having a strong fragrance. Instead, it smells like clean linen. Easy to use and clean. Can be stored in a small space. Great for car/boat upholstery cleaning. If need hot steam to clean a very large surface, this product is not it. I did clean a Queen mattress and didn't have to wait 24-hrs for it to dry. Tips: Pretreat stains. Fill with 140 degrees F water with the soap. Place a tarp/towel under the unit and keep a shop towel nearby. Don't pull the unit with the hose. Hold the nozzle at an angle to get the best suction. Don't read the bad reviews and buy this.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sucks up a small fraction of the water it uses, even with repeated slow passes over the spot. The "heat" is nonexistent. After less than a year of very normal use (using the machine to spot clean a few times a week), the plastic hose split near the head; a common complaint which renders the machine useless.
