I just purchased this after lending out my upright and never getting it back and am thoroughly pleased. It's compact and has just as much power as my upright did. Its nice and light to carry from place to place and does wonders. I would recommend buying this to anyone who is interested in cleaning area rugs, couches, autos, rugs, stairs or anything else as I've tried it in every situation and have been very pleased with the results. Good job bissel !!!!

A must in every house

I live in South America, but while visiting my family in the states I saw a Bissell advertisement...having two Persia cats, I was always cleaning accidents. So I purchased the SpòtClean, When I returned to South America, I cleaned all my furniture and even mattresses, I couldn´t believe the amount of dirt that came from cleaning. Also your cleaning products smell so great and really do the job. Now when my cats have an accident, I spring into action using my spotclean . I even found a new use for the Spotclean since stuffed animals can´t be submerged totally, I clean them with the Spotclean and they´re like new without damaging them.

Pet cleaning

handy to carry and use of small areas. agree with other reviews, cannot easily clean Deep Reach tool. the hair gets stuck. need a way to take off the coverto clean it. otherwise like it.

Not happy with this unit at all.

The tanks leak and it continues to spray solution even after the trigger is released. Not as good as the Little Green units and MUCH less capacity.

Spot clean

The unit is a bit heavy, has really poor suction and does a lousy job. It needs stronger suction. I went over my carpets numerous time and they were still soaking wet. Poor quality made with flimsy , cheap plastic parts. Cord is way to short. The cleaning head is a really poor design. When it gets dirty you cannot clean it well and all the gunk is stuck in the head fermenting and getting moldy/nasty. Overall rating is extremely poor.

Very good at clean ups

I've used my spot cleaner once and it does a great job. It is lightweight so transport is easy and the cleaner smells great too. One drawback, the thing spews out the side of the brush and gets cleaner in unwanted places. Overall: I would buy it again. Some spots cleaned with a commercial cleaner can come back when carpet is dry, they did not with my Bissell.

Thank you for your review. If you are using the deep reach tool, this is designed to clean deep in the carpet fibers, not on the surface. With cleaning deep in the fibers, this will eliminate water all over on surfaces you don't want it.

More than sufficient for those pesky pet accidents

Good machine! I originally had the Little Green Machine and that's what I set out to buy when I came across this machine. The deep clean wand is fabulous. Has great suction. My only complaint is that the water sprays too far out on the sides of the wand and I end up getting water and cleaner where I don't need it. I used it in my car and everything in sight got sprayed instead of just the area I needed to clean. Other than that, I highly recommend this machine. It's light weight and the cleaning solutions that came with it are top notch. Good job Bissell!
