When we purchased the SpotClean, we were traveling in our fifth wheel with two dogs. This little machine is easy to use and really does a great job removing whatever soil you have in your carpets and upholstery! It is easy to fill, easy to carry, easy to empty, and it is easy to clean its parts. I highly recommend this machine to anyone wanting something for smaller jobs like spills, pet stains and light traffic areas. We did use it to clean a love seat and had to empty the water several times but it got the job done beautifully!!

I was livid! The machine didn't work. I called their toll free helpline screaming "The trigger won't work. It just leaks." The gentleman working the helpline asked question after question then finally asked me if the machine was making noise. "What noise?" I replied. "You have to turn the machine on," he said. I found the button, pushed it, and the little machine started spraying and cleaning. It did a good job too. Boy, did I feel stupid!

Great Product

Used it for cleaning up pet vomit and pet urine. Really powerful, it actually sucked up the liquids and then cleaned the spot thoroughly. I am totally amazed at the convenience and power of this unit. I keep it loaded and ready to go. It is faster than mopping up a mess with towels and hand scrubbing.

I bought the SpotClean thinking in the back of my mind that I would be returning it, but WOW..... I used it on a few spots that I thought would never come out and was I surprised and so very pleased. This is a terrific little machine and does an outstanding job. I'm so happy I have it and will be able to clean up spots on my own. I'm VERY impressed.

Best portable cleaner I have ever used!

I have a 13 year old Persian with a very sensitive stomach. This Bissell spot cleaner is a God-send. It does an excellent job of cleaning and grooming the carpet. When I am finished it's like it never happened, the carpet is perfect. I would highly recommend this product to anyone especially a pet owner. I enjoy this product so much I disposed of my old Hoover steam cleaner and purchased a full size Bissell carpet cleaner for the larger jobs. This machine also does a fantastic job. Bissell has truly cornered the market in this area of carpet cleaning in my opinion.

Cleans too well

I have a small condo and purchased it to clean areas of light tan rug that renter had dirtied badly. It works so well the carpet looks new. However, the tank is small so I have to empty it frequently. They need to redesign the dirty water tank. The instructions need to be clarified that it makes a pop sound and suction stops when the tank is full and needs to be emptied. Too many reviewers claim their machine is broken! They just don't understand that the pop sound means the tank is full. Too many reviewers say that water leaks and sprays. I found that if you do not seat the tanks properly according to the instructions, then the water sprays. The owners need to be more careful about this. If I follow the instructions it works great!

leak, a major issue in design or manufacturing

My husband and I purchased it , set it up and started using it. It seemed to work fine at first but after 3 minutes suddenly the suction stopped with the sound rising one tone. after about a minute of trying to figure out what was wrong, it started suction again however the hose started leaking sucked water. My husband is an engineer and says this is a case of a bad design. I should have listened to other reviews about leaks. It's true. I've read them and still got it. Stupid me.

Don't buy this product

I had purchased this product when my "Little Green Machine" started leaking after 10 years. The first one lasted less than 90 days when the machine went "pop" and stopped suctioning. I returned it and purchased another thinking it was a factory defect. The 2d machine lasted 5 minutes before going "pop" and stopping any suction. I spoke with both Customer Service and someone at the Corporate Office - both said the same, this is not a normal happening; they will pass along my comments. This model is being "new and improved" - expect less once more.

Thank you for your review. We're sorry you had to take your machine back. The SpotClean has a float valve to stop suction, so this way the collection tank won't over fill when you suction the water back into the tank.
