Never Again!

I got this after Christmas and I wish I never bought it. My dirty water tank doesn't lock into place so if it gets moved even a little bit it starts to leak all over the floor so now I have 2 messes to clean up. Get the Little Green Machine you'll be much happier.

We appreciate your review. We can help you stop the leak with your SpotClean deep cleaner. Make sure the separator stack inside the collection tank is in place properly. The arrow on this part should be in line with the lock icon on the tank. Please make sure the duck bill gasket isn't missing. This gasket should be on the bottom of the collection tank. The "bill" part of the gasket should fit in the wider side of the tank.

At store today only 2 machine choices were available this bissel and one other ( i think green machine?) the one i bought was 35$ more so i thought better quality. Unfortunately its not. Unless other is worse?? Oh,my... Anyhow i began cleaning a soda spill in vehicle about half way into cleaning the machine started spraying dirty water all over vehicle... small mess became large sticky mess. :-( Good thing i liked about machine is water tank is big. however it can only hold maybe two inches of water before safety shut down. Im returning for a refund.

If this isn't connected properly there would be a leak with your machine. Broken already!

Just purchased this on Sunday, today is Wednesday...it is broken already. It is spraying water from the hose and the bottom of the machine is leaking. I bought this because I need to clean some pet stains. We moved to a new house and our dogs are having trouble adjusting to the move. The dirty water tank fills so fast that I'm emptying it every 2-3 minutes. The full line is maybe an inch off the bottom, so it tricks you into thinking that you could efficiently clean up a stain, but it doesn't work that way. What a disappointment.

There shouldn't be any gaps. The arrow on the separator stack should be in line with the lock icon on the collection tank. If this isn't locked in place, the machine will leak at the bottom.

The assembly was easy. I appreciate the additional precautions included to avoid water leakage. I had a 2 foot diameter stain & the Deep Reach brush took care of it. I do have a maintenance question & will contact customer service.

Sprays dirty water

Went to use it the second time and noticed dirty water spraying back onto the cord and machine. Called customer service and was told to take it to a place 1.5 away. Also, it was hard to understand the person I was talking to and unprofessional (lots of laughing in the background). Will never buy Bissell again.

Works Great

Got this cleaner this month after my Little Green Machine finally died. Had Little Green Machine for years and yeas and picked up lots of messes with 1 dog and then a new puppy! Couldn't go without my steam cleaner and wanted the heat option. Got this cleaner and did beige couch and chair with it - couldn't believe the difference in the furniture - took out lots of stains and they looked like new again. My only complaint about this cleaner is I find the hose is too stiff - not as flexible as the one I had on my Little Green Machine.

Manual Needs Improving

The product seems to work well for small areas however we struggled to both assemble and use the product because the manual is so poorly designed and written. The pictures are small and it makes reference to attachments which you have no idea whether you have or not. Went to the website to try and find an on-line manual which I could at least expand to get bigger pictures but to no avail. Improve the instructions and this product would then get 5 stars.

Hose detached

I have had mine for over a year. It is great on carpets, bedding and furniture. Everything dries quickly because it has great suction power. That being said, I felt that it is cheaply made regarding putting it together. I found the hose too be a little to short when wrapping it around the base to store. Regarding the tanks, they did not safely or easily remain in place. Today I went to clean my mattress and found that the hose had separated from the hand nozzle and water and dirt sprayed all over. I am at a loss as the hose can not be replaced with a new attached hand grip. I may try gorilla glue and heavy adhesive tape to reattach the base of hose to hand grip.. Major disappointment because it is cheaply made and it was a major decision to spend the money to purchase it. . JP
