no hose replacement available

This is a great product. It doesn't take up much room and it is a great spot cleaner. However, I have only used it about 10 times and the hose has separated from the handle and there is no replacement part. The hose is very stiff which makes it easy to break. The machine is useless without the hose. If this were made where the hose could be replaced (and a better hose) it would be a great product.

This product is poorly designed

This product has 2 design flaws: The deep cleaning attachment has no way to clean out any accumulated pet hair. Once any hair gets in there it is stuck. (Yes, I do vacuum the spot first if I can.) There is no way to reach the hair to clean it out. The instruction manual says you can take the tool apart, but that is not true. Also, when pretreating the stain, even if you follow the instructions and hold the attachment right above or against the carpet, the attachment sprays from the sides at least a foot on either side making a mess on walls or furniture.

Sprayer stops working

I only used this twice and wasn't happy after first use because spray goes not where you want it to go. While using it for 2nd time it started leaking around the clean tank and solution going on the floor. Could not figure out how to stop it from doing this. My 3rd time now it won't spray at all and their trouble shooting instructions suck at how to fix these problems. Now my Bissell full carpet cleaner I"m happy with but this spot one not at all and it's very loud to be so little.

I have used the cleaner twice and love it. I have dogs and this cleaner comes in way handy! A couple of tips to maximize performance. 1. Buy and use the OXY boost with the regular soap it really helps with stubborn stains. 2. For every soap pass you need to do 3 or 4 SLOW passes to suck up the water.

Space cleaner vs spot cleaner

I just tried my new machine and had the following problems: 1)the solution will not spray on the dirty spot but sideways about a foot on either side of the spot even holding it at floor level 2) the noise level is terrible - I ended up using the ear protectors for the outdoor leaf blower 3) the water removal is poor - only a small amount returned to the tank . I have used the small Green Machine before and didn't buy one this time as the overall product looked very cheap now. It had better suction and spay control. I own a large carpet cleaner but wanted something for spots - this doesn't do the job as I either am going to have to layer the surrounding carpet with towels or clean a larger section then I wanted to as I will have to clean at least 1 foot to the side to get cleaning solution on the spot.

Thanks for the feedback on the SpotClean. Depending on which tool you use, you'll see a different spray pattern. If you're using the normal upholstery brush it will spray in a fan pattern that expands or contracts depending on how far its being held over the spot. If you're using the Deep Reach Tool (which is meant to be pressed firming on carpet) and hold it above the carpet, the spray till appear to go in several directions. UNHAPPY with life of this product

Bought this in January because we had a new puppy in the house. We have only used it to clean up urine spots from the puppys accidents. Not even 3 months old, it started spraying water out of the pump/motor has already gone bad. Wont warranty the product because I opened it see what was wrong.

Machine is garbage!!!

The first one I bought broke so bissell sent me a replacement. The second time I used it, the same thing happened. I heard a pop and the machine stopped working. Two machines, same problem. What a huge waist of money, I would NEVER recommend this product.

Gets most stains out, a few of the harder ones from colored drinks came most of the way out, but left some behind. I bought this, thinking it would actually put out hot water. Big misconception on this advertisement. The water in the clean tank is at least warm, but when sprayed is definitely cold. Not cool, cold. Must be how the nozzle works. I would definitely recommend taking all heat related comments off of the box! Final output of the water temperature is where it matters, not what it is in the tank!
