Cheap hose

When it worked, did an ok job but its put together with cheap parts. The hose, where it attaches to the base of the unit, sprays the dirty water all over the place creating a bigger mess than the one i originally tried to clean. Not worth the money

Clean water problem

The machine which we have had less than two years has served us pretty well. Now we have a big problem. Whenever there is something in the clean tank it leaks through the machine. When the clean tank is not on the machine, the liquid leaks/streams out. I have looked for about a month now on this site and the clean tank has been out of stock. I would rather try to replace it and see if that fixes things rather than buy a new unit. Do you have any idea when this will be available again??

Spot Pro will not spray cleaning solution.

Bought this highly rated Spotclean Pro last summer used it once and seemed to work well. BUT attempted to use it again and now it will not spray cleaning solution or water from hose. This item is less than a year old! A big disappointment. I am the owner of a Bissell upright carpet cleaner and a Bissell Clean Machine which I replaced with the Spot Clean Pro last summer. Would not recommend this item.

Sorry to hear this! It's possible the spray tip for the hose or tool is clogged. Try cleaning the end with a paper clip or small pin, that should remove any obstruction and allow the cleaner to spray again!

FINE FOR WHAT IT IS DESIGNED TO DO

This works fine for small spot or small areas. I purchased this to clean the front seat carpets on my vehicles. It is advertised for small spot cleanups. That is exactly what it is for. It is much easier to use than larger combination carpet and upholstery cleaners. Much easier to cleanup and store the unit also. I am satisfied. Just don't more of it than advertised.

Poor suction, did not work well overall

We bought the proheat pet machine because after our new puppy had an accident on the rug our cat decided he should urinate on that spot as well. The machine gets the spot very well but the suction is not very good and does not suction the water back very well. We have lots of dirty water in the tank but the rug is still very wet.

Thanks for giving the machine a try, Toni! Sorry to hear about the double trouble with the spot, you may want to try a few suction only passes with the brush and hose to suction up some of the extra liquid, that should help to dry the spot!

Not Worth The Money

Hose has ripped in 3 spots near handle after about 6 times using it. Spent hours trying to get water to extract, Thought it worked until the next day when I got up and all I could smell was dog urine. Started to reclean (already mad since its not cleaning correctly) and finally figured out that there wasnt maximum suction going on due to the broken hose. All that urine & soap say in rug the whole night. Used a BUNCH of duct tape to get the job finished. WASTE WASTE WASTE of time and MONEY!!!!!

I have had the Bissell spotclean proheat for about two months now. I love it! I use it in my car, carpets, furniture. It does a great cleaning job! The cleaning formulas that come with it are just as equally great. My only complaint is that the hose is very stiff and hard to move around sometimes, otherwise is a very great purchase!

SpotClean ProHeat vs. Professional Carpet Cleaner - 1 DAY...

A professional carpet cleaner came out to clean the areas of the house that are still carpet -- upstairs, stairs and master closet. The landing stair was my biggest problem area because our new canine family addition likes to occupy it to stay out of everyone's way and have an overview of her surroundings. I'm so glad to be able to share this photo, because after the professional carpet cleaner left and everything dried, I was not pleased with the landing stairs. The next day, I purchased the BISSELL SpotClean ProHeat model. This picture tells the story. I am NOT, in any way, affiliated with BISSELL. This is just a random homeowner that was shockingly surprised at how well this little tool worked to clean up what the pro left behind!
