I highly recommend this product for pet owners

I don't think there is a better product you can buy than one of these if your a pet owner. It's really easy to use - you can whip it out quickly when you have to clean up an accident on carpet. We have had ours since our puppy was only a few weeks old. Our machine has saved our carpets from pee stains, poo, and vomit. It has worked excellent on our sofa too! I highly recommend this machine to all our friends and family.
I would recommend this to a friend!

poor design

Poor quality parts the hose is not made of proper materials to be store in the tight curve. It quickly cracked at the handle. In less than 1 year the spray nozzle quit working. When I opened up the handle the part was rusted. Really? How did that happen. Only poor design would result in this. And yes if all the seals are not placed perfectly the waste water leaks out the bottom. The containers are also hard to empty/rinse out.

I may just have a lemon, but the tanks do not fit securely in their places. I cannot seem to get the dirty tank to line up and then if I bump or move the cleaner, I have to start over testing and trying to get it to collect the dirty water. This is problematic when the dirty water does not go in its tank, it leaks all over the floor you were trying to clean, and somehow gets to the fan and sprays all over. There is also mold now growing on the underneath side. I would not recommend this product.

It sounds like the removable center stack from the tank is not fully screwed in place. These steps can help! https://www.bissell.com/support/helpful-resources/faqs/faq-detail-page?id=0f432673-2722-457d-bb12-58f28c507d94&cid=ccsocial2107

Good little cleaner

I have used it to clean up where my dog left off and it works well. I always spray it first let it soak in and then do a wet clean, I always go over it a few times with just the vacuum asummed everyone does. I would prefer a little more suction and a wider head like the older model but for $99 bucks it's great!

Just bought this and put it together. The tanks do not appear to snap or lock in. Is this by design?

Would not buy another one

We purchased this spot cleaner to use for pet accidents to replace a previous one that was worn out. ( 4 dogs) We have had this machine for approximately 6-8 months. This model is much more inferior than the unit we had. The hose is too stiff to wrap around the unit after using it - it will not stay in the holder on the back of the machine and just flops around. The machine leaks the dirty water when using so we then have to clean up a new mess. The worst thing is that we cannot seem to get the machine cleaned out enough after using it to get rid of the urine odor. When the machine is on, it emits a foul old urine odor through the fan into the room. Would possibly consider the other pet spot cleaner Bissell offers if we could be assured we would not have these issues.

Not worth the money...poorly designed.

Thought I was buying something I could have around for awhile for the money I spent on this machine. If I knew it was going to be a waste, I would of just bought a cheaper one. Where the handle and hose meet is the trouble spot. You attach a holder to your machine when you get it. It holds your cord and hose handle. The way they have the handle bend to fit this causes the clear hose to tear. Worthless now!

Cheap hose

When it worked, did an ok job but its put together with cheap parts. The hose, where it attaches to the base of the unit, sprays the dirty water all over the place creating a bigger mess than the one i originally tried to clean. Not worth the money
