Leaks all over the place

purchased this product a few months ago used it once and it worked, went to use it a few weeks later and it leaked all over the place I returned it for a new one and the same thing happened, I used it and it worked fine, cleaned it, put it away for a few weeks, went to use it again and it leaks all over the place I would not recommend this product

Awesome Machine

This machine does an awesome job on carpets and upholstery. The Bissell cleaners and the Oxy Boost do a great job removing stains permanently. I am very happy I purchased this cleaner, and highly recommend it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Used it the same day I got it and am so glad I purchased this product. I should've purchased it sooner! Bissel's website had the best deal when I was buying, otherwise it can be found on other sites as well but maybe not the combo cleaning product/and vacuum deal.

Not Too Impressed, Defective Product

Family purchased one for my birth day. We have been using Bissell products for years due to their reliability and excellence. Used product within the week of purchasing it to test it out. Worked great no problems. Put it in the closet for a month properly put away with no other items nestled on top of it or close to it. Pulled it out because the cats spilled a small container of cleaning water all over the floor as I steed away for a second. Brought out the machine. Properly set it up. Turned it on. Hose was spraying every were and got a full blast of chemical water in my face. Was quite unhappy as it just added to the mess. Not to mention my eyes were now irritated because of the hose spraying every where. Had to wrap a couple towels around it to finish the job. Towels were soaking wet upon completion. Do not recommend. Contacting customer support for defective product as it was a lot of money to be defective.

I had a Green Machine (loved it) for years and it finally gave out so I went and bought a Bissell Portable Proheat. It is the worst product for over $100.00 that I have ever bought. The hose is so stiff that within two uses it cracked, I tried to tape it and it ripped in another spot. What the heck happened to the hoses is the material that cheap that it can't be softened up. I am not sure I would ever buy another Bissell but I need a spot cleaner due to owning cats and I hope to find a good one soon.

Was not expecting such a shabby Bissell product, have used Bissell for many years and am a points member. Borrowed this new cleaner from my daughter Was really looking forward to getting the job done. Very surprised and disappointed steam/liquid not hot???? Also dirty liquid not draining back into canister but onto floor. I searched your reviews and found someone else had this problem but i could not pull up your response or how to fix....please direct me...why should I have to be bothered with a part that was not screwed in properly....just really disappointed in this product

good product but name is misleading

so the name of the product is proheat - but unlike the former model, it does NOT heat the water in the tank. you must put in hot water from the tap. problem being, one then needs to make sure they only put in the exact amount of water for each use.
I would recommend this to a friend!
