Happy to have this machine on hand

I have two dogs and one of the two leaves surprises on the carpet every so often. Now I have a carpet cleaner for the small messes that is lightweight, easy to use, and works well for those small jobs and hopefully can cut down on the number of times I have to have the professional cleaning crew come in.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this because my daughter has one and she loved how it cleaned. So, I bought one to do light cleaning on the sofa and carpeting when needed. I sprayed the sofa and scrubbed it with the brush that wasn't in the package and I had to go to the original store for. However, the empty cup that should be filling up with dirty water is completely dry ~ not a drop of water in it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I was worried it could not clean our cushions on the wicker furniture in our sunroom. Lots of dirt from 3 dogs! I was amazed what a great job it did! So easy to use!

Down in flames

I've been using this cleaner for over a year and it's performed very well, but tonight it arched, sparked, and burst into flames. Pretty scary!! Fortunately it didn't burn my carpet as I was able to pick it up almost immediately and turn it off. I'm guessing it shouldn't combust. I'm hoping Bissell will make this right.
