Smells when using it

I would not buy this as when I clean up puppy accidents the exhausts smells rubber/urine while using. You have to spray freshener in air to get smell out. I take it and clean it out after use...gasket has smell stuck in it. It does clean up the mess, but I am ready to buy a Hoover that won't smell. It is gross. Don't buy, even for small other cleaning it still smells when using. Very disappointing product, should not have such a strong odor...thought it would get better after awhile, nope just worse.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Sorry to hear about the leak! It sounds like the gasket for the dirty water tank is missing or the center stack in the tank is not fully screwed in place. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lightweight, easy to assemble and use. Great for spot cleaning!! Hard to get all the water out of the containers...have to shake and shake and let it sit a day to let it dry out as much as possible.

This product does a horrible job cleaning and only sucks up the water it puts out. It barely sucks back water and leaves everything wet. Takes a long time to use.

This cleaner and the Bissell customer service dept are awful

I would give this product and the Bissell company 0 stars if this were possible. When I opened the package with the SpotClean carpet cleaner there was a residual chemical on the cleaner which burned both of my hands; the burns looked like the result of contact with an acid. I called the customer service line and was told to wash my hands. This was the worst customer service I have ever received. I used the Bissell spot cleaner on upholstery and the water never heated, I left the machine running for 20 minutes. The cleaner did not remove any of the stains on my upholstery, even after pretreating and scrubbing. This is a defective and poorly manufactured product.
