Great Spot Cleaner for Light Duty Cleaning

Based upon my use of this Bissell SPOTCLEAN LITTLE GREEN PROHEAT Carpet & Upholstery Cleaner Model 2513G, I give it a 3 out of 5 stars. I found the assembly of the product very easy to follow per instructions provided. This product has the ability for the use of a total of 7 different cleaning head attachments which only 2 are provided with the product. This particular product came with a 3" Touch Stain Tool and a 3-N-1 Star Tool. Other attachments are available per the manufacturers website. I tested this product on two residual pet/cat stains whereas normal blotting and hand cleaning failed to remove all the stain. Much to my surprise of just waiting 5 minutes after applying the spay mixure and light scrubbing using the 3" Touch Stain Tool the two spots were completely removed! At this point I was at a 5 out of 5 star review with the following information dropping it to 3 out of 5 stars. In my situation my primary use of this product would be for the use of pet stains. Knowing the main type of cat pet stains is for the clean-up of hair-balls this product does not come with the much needed Stain Trapper Tool. Looking at the manufacturer's website this one cleaning head costs 1/2 the total cost of the product itself. Not having this Stain Trapper Tool would require me to manually clean most of the solid stain residue by hand before using the product. This was not my intent for the use of a carpet and upholstery spot cleaner. Now I am at a 3.5 out of 5 star rating. The last 1/2 star deduction lies with the inability to have the clean water/solution tank dry in a timely manner. The opening of the tank is very small and recessed not allowing all the water to completely drain out of the tank. This required manual evaporation of the clean water/solution tank which took 36 hours. In summary, this is a great product for the removal of small liquid only stains. Quick and Easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissel Little Green Pro Heat carpet cleaner is a perfect size to carry from room to room or out to your car. I like that the water tanks hold plenty of water, and are easy to fill and empty. It has good suction for sucking up the cleaning fluid or even spills. It comes with 3 tools, one for the stairs, so you can get along the bull nose of the step and in the crevice. One for flat surfaces and one tool to clean the hose. Everything is nicely contained on the unit, which I like, so you always have the tool you need right at arms length. Overall I am happy with this carpet cleaner. I like the ease of carrying it around the house and the portablility to take it to my car. It does a good job of cleaning without having to lug out my large carpet cleaner for smaller clean ups. Although, I am confused by the name "ProHeat", because it doesn't actually heat the water, but says it "helps maintain water temperature. When I put in hot water it does stay hot for the amount of time I needed it to stay hot. The small size with all the pieces contained makes it easy to store on a shelf, in a closet or cabinet. The unit and the tools are also easy to clean up by rinsing under water when you are finished.

Decent but flawed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have owned the original Little Green for many years and it was getting rather gross from regular pet and kid uses and needed to be replaced. I liked the idea of cleaning with heat so the Proheat really appealed to me. Having used both I can say I like them both but would not spend more to have the heat function. The Proheat helps to keep your already hot water hot but won't get cold water warm. I feel that most cleaning tasks are quick enough for the water to just stay home on it's own. The main feature thus becomes rather pointless and therefore I can't recommend this product but instead do recommend the brand and encourage the purchase of a small cleaner to fit your needs.

Small but Powerful!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We needed a portable carpet cleaner with 2 aging cats and teenagers. I was a bit worried when I opened the machine and saw how small it was. Those thoughts were quickly changed into "ahh" moments when my son and I were able to clean week old mac and cheese off his brand new carpet. We followed the directions and after three passes of the brush (once in three different directions), it was gone. From diet coke, mayo to chocolate, stains disappeared. The dark chocolate stain required 7 passes to completely come out. This little machine is back with stain lifting power. We had a larger carpet cleaner for many years and this unit far and wide exceeds that bigger more powerful machine. The unit is lightweight and easy to move from one area of the carpet to another. I have neuropathy in my right arm after chemo so the weight of a product means a ton to me when purchasing. All the components fit on the actual machine which is wonderful for storage. The directions are easy to understand and the unit is easy to clean afterwards. I absolutely love this product! My sister has already purchased one based on my recommendation.

I used it to clean the headrests in my car where hair products, sweat, and dust have built up. This cleaned it like a pro!!! I thought i was going to have to take it to a cleaner!!! I cleaned both head rests in under an hour! I would recommend this to anyone who breathes! Its so easy to set up and use!! I love it!!
