[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Brand new out of the box and it sprays the waste water right out of the bottom of the motor. Same thing the last one we had did. Do not.buy this product.

Do not buy, will leak on you and smell bad.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Would not buy product again. Will be good for a few months then begin to leak and air out an odor. Even if you clean the tank and tubing daily, it will still let out a scent. Makes our room/house smell terrible real quick. We've maintained it really well and have only used it for what it was supposed to be used for. This all started when we've had for about 3-4 months.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love this however

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this not even a year ago and have used it relatively lightly. Always cleaning the parts off appropriately and storing correctly. The hose however has broken at the base by the handle. I've really disappointed seeing as I have taken really good care of the entire machine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had mine for a year. Probably used it 4 times for spot cleaning and today the hose has started leaking and spraying water. After reading other comments about similar problems, I'm guessing I'm just out of luck. Side note, it worked great the 4 times I used it.

Do not buy- hose tore and Bissell would not help

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We used this product as directed for 2-3 years. The hose then tore, making the machine useless. I contacted bissell, and they would not help since it had been more than 2 years. They do not even sell replacement hoses, so they told me I'd have to buy a whole new machine from them. Bissell quality has gone downhill, and they do not stand behind their products. Spend your money elsewhere.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In spite of the name "Proheat" and the photo on the website with red radiant coils in the water chamber, this is NOT a steam cleaner. That was very difficult to discern on this website.

Hose failed after 18 months

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this to replace my trusty 10+ year old little green. First impressions were great - really good spot cleaner, with good suction. But... took it out a couple of weeks ago to address a pet mess. As I sucked up, there was suddenly an unusual amount of water coming out of the hose at the nozzle end. The hose had failed, and had a 1/2" split. Quick check of the failure location showed why - the hose length is just slightly less than it should be. The had always made seating the hose nozzle in its storage spot slightly frustrating, but I always got it back in eventually. However this created stress where the hose bent slightly (the bend location is intentional.) - very clear design flaw. (Quick search online confirmed that other users had encountered the same issue.) I probably used in no more than once a month in the 18 months I had it. Extremely disappointed.
