This is a nice bag with a strong outer shell to protect from the elements. It has a side pocket for a water bottle, front pocket. The main inside compartment is a good size but does lack some internal storage support to protect a laptop or external. Also the shoulder/back staps feel very weak and poor quality for this type of bag.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
