I purchased these to try. Unfortunately, the vacuum hose attachment is no longer available. Luckily I ordered the mason jar attachment and was able to make the hose that was included with it work with my FM 2435.

3 cup and 10 cup set was just what I needed. This is good set and us it all the time. I use for marinating foods such as beef, chicken, pork, and venison. The 3 and 10 cup also comes in handy to preserve leftovers. I even take leftovers to work and everything stays fresh. Alot of time by vacuum marinade increases flavor in meats. This makes for better dish, by keeping air away from food. I even use 3 cup and 10 cup for soups and stews, which helps bring flavors together. When there left to marinade for couple days. After preparing food also increases flavor over time.

I love these for marinating chicken, beef, or vegetables. The 3 cup would be sized more for salsa, dip, or other smaller mixes.

I really love these things. I was a bit shocked when they arrived. the 3 cup size was about what I imagined. The 10 cup, a different story. This guy is BIG. I recently started using a slow cooker to prepare daily dinners for the week. This is where this baby shines. I can put about 75% of the prepared meal into this container and place in the refrigerator for future consumption.
With purchasing 3 sets (3-cup & 10-cup) in one order combined with my original containers, from 3 years ago. I can now have a variety of prepared dinners for up to 2 weeks at a time.
