Not What I Expect from Otterbox Quality

We made a substantial upgrade to our mobile phones and equated this investment with the requirement to apply a "top of the line" screen protector. We're already customers so it was an easy choice to pick out the Amplify Screen Protector. The installation was not as efficient as I would have expected; it was almost easier to mess it up than get it right but I prevailed. Right out of the gate you can tell it's a good thickness, it felt good to the touch and was responsive. Given these characteristics, I would have graded this product 5 Stars. Then one side began to lift up from the glass, then the other. Now both sides have increasingly begun to pull away and not stay adhered to the screen. For the past several months I've just dealt with how annoying it is as it continues to get worse. It's basically a slow quit of its functionality. Overall I'd say that I have a feeling of "settling" for this product (especially given the price point) and that's not usually something I have come to expect with Otterbox's quality, reliability, and promise.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Fantastic fit, some trouble with the applicator

So far I am very pleased with the screen protector I purchased! It fits the screen so well I sometimes forget it’s even there! I feel secure knowing that I can go outside and juggle my phone AND groceries, knowing that even if I fumble, my screen will be okay.
One small problem I had was that the little device I was supposed to put my phone in before applying the screen protecter was too big for my iPhone 12 mini (even with my new phone case!). I had to finagle with the contraption and my fingers to make it work, thus the screen came out a bit crooked. Not a huge problem, but definitely something to keep in mind when purchasing this product.
Overall I am very satisfied!

Happy with the clarity and added protection but the installation "frame" doesn't fit the 12 mini. I followed the instructions to the letter and watched a few videos but there's a LOT of room for error in placing the screen. I had to reposition mine and still have it slightly off-kilter and get a bubble at the top of the screen. Not a deal killer but it definitely needs a better design.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Installation Tool Doesn't Fit iPhone 12 Mini

The glass fits, but the installation tool will not adjust small enough for the iPhone 12 mini. They sent a replacement but the installation tool was the same. I jury-rigged with spacers and got the glass installed. They don't seem to believe me, so I sent them a video. My original review was never posted.

The case the screen is attached to is too big for the iphone 12 mini. I had to put my otterbox case with out the bumper on to make it work. Even then I has a hard time getting the corners down. I tried three times to chat with customer service since they are not taking phone calls due to Covid. Each time the chat got timed out as I was waiting for a representative to pick up.
So far the screen protector has worked well. I would not recommend this screen for the mini because of the hard setup.
