After purchasing a “tomato slicer “ and small paring knife several years ago that are my “go to” knives for pretty much everything be it fauna or flora, I decided to splurge and add to my collection. I purchased a second silver handled (hand wash only) tomato slicer (in the event that the other one should disappear as everyone who uses it raves about it!) and a set of Black handle utility/steak knives. (Black handles can take the dishwasher). I am VERY pleased with Rada knives; reasonable price, easy to maintain to keep looking like new and American made.

Absolutely love this knife. Not only is it great for tomatoes and other fresh fruits, it is great for slicing baked breads such as a loaf of French bread.
It is also good for cutting up lettuce for a salad. I have a lot of expensive knives but find myself reaching for this Rada knife much of the time.
