I have two knives that slice tomatoes well, this one and a finely serrated vegetable knife. Both allow me to cut thin slices. I had to put off canning for a few days when I accidentally left my vegetable knife at church. Bought this RADA and use it regularly. Would not want to be without a tomato specific knife again.
