This is one of my favorite Rada knives. I purchased my first tomato slicer many years ago as part of a school fund raiser and it is still as sharp today as it was when I first bought it. Still slices a tomato as thin or as thick as you like it. I've used it for cutting watermelon open to slicing meat. The only damage I've been able to inflict upon it is bending the tip while trying to pry something apart with it. I just purchased two slicers for my daughters. They love theirs as much as I do mine. 5 stars??? I'd give it 10!

Bought this as a gift for a friend who was anxiously waiting for the first ripe tomato from her garden. Her reaction when she used this knife for the first time was, “Oh. My. Gosh. What a fabulous ‘tamata’ (inside joke) knife.” I agree. I have bought several of these for friends and relatives and it always gets rave reviews.

Very satisfied with this knife. It cuts perfectly thin slices through the summer tomatoes for sandwiches.

We have been using this knife for a few years but we give them away to friends and relatives who are amazed at how well they work. Eventually we have to re-order so we will have some. They are FANTASTIC!

This knife slices tomatoes perfectly. Everyone should have one. While fantastic for slicing tomatoes, it will slice just about any fruit or vegetable. It is a slicer, like the name says; the knife is not a peeler or chopper. We're glad we bought it.
