I gave 6 of
These knives as Christmas presents because I own 2 of
Them and love them. It is the best tomato slicing knife I’ve ever owned!

Was given this knife a few years ago. Loved it so much I now give it to my
tomato loving friends.
Only quibble I have is that the site did not immediately make clear how to select the fundraiser I wanted to support. Took a bit of effort to locate that. Almost gave up. The knives are worth the hassle of that though. Just wish it didn’t take so much effort.

Just tried my new Rada tomato slicer for the first time. Slid through a couple of big red tomatoes like they were buttah! No squishing whatsoever. Now I can't wait til next Summer when we'll be able to make fresh tomato & mayonnaise sandwiches on white bread again. With local, homegrown fresh from the vine tomatoes. Nothing like 'em!
PS - my Dad used to wait for that first Perfect Tomato every year from his garden. It was a semi-big event in our family. He'd carefully scan all the tomatoes as they grew from green to orangish to [finally] red & choose the one he thought was going to be ready first. Then once the big day arrived, he'd wait til about 2 pm and then go out into the tomato garden with a damp paper towel & a salt shaker. He plucked the tomato, wipe it gently with the paper towel and take a SMALL bite, then sprinkle a little salt on each succeeding bite. He waited til mid-afternoon IF it was a sunny day so the tomato grew quite warm. Dad always said that first bite was equivalent to having the world's freshest tomato sauce!

Slices wonderfully. A great addition to my knife set. I use only Rada knives. They are the best!

What did I think about it? I bought it for my brother because his knives are horrible. I have been using Rada Knives for over 20 years. We used to get them at the factory I worked at from a fundraiser. I love all your products!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
