This is one of my favorite Rada knives. I purchased my first tomato slicer many years ago as part of a school fund raiser and it is still as sharp today as it was when I first bought it. Still slices a tomato as thin or as thick as you like it. I've used it for cutting watermelon open to slicing meat. The only damage I've been able to inflict upon it is bending the tip while trying to pry something apart with it. I just purchased two slicers for my daughters. They love theirs as much as I do mine. 5 stars??? I'd give it 10!

This knife slices tomatoes perfectly. Everyone should have one. While fantastic for slicing tomatoes, it will slice just about any fruit or vegetable. It is a slicer, like the name says; the knife is not a peeler or chopper. We're glad we bought it.
