I am happy that I have these knives. The tomato knife does a great job of cutting through the skin without crushing the interior. The blade on it, and the paring knives, are super sharp, so don't cut a tomato holding it the palm of your hand! (duh) Two things to recommend: first, the blades are very very thin and I worry they will break. Perhaps this is necessary to improve their cutting ability though. Secondly, the handles are just a little small for the hand and I would suggest making them a little meatier. Otherwise - a great knife!

We have had a RADA tomato slicer for years and it is THE BEST for slicing tomatoes for sandwiches. It also works well for slicing other vegetables nice and thin. We love the knife so much we decided to get one for each of our adult children as an early Christmas present. They love their RADA tomato slicers too!
