They do last a lifetime! I have had my peeler & paring knife set for over 20 years, used almost daily and they are still sharp - my favorites.

The peeler is not the quality I have experienced with other rada products. It does not grab the peeling like the ones I've used in the past. Have you had concerns with other peelers, not satisfied with this item. Love the knife but I would like a replacement on the peeler.

My Father in Law gave me my first set of Rada knives and I fell in love with the quality of them. I have since bought several other sets and knives not only for myself but also to give as wedding gifts. Everyone I have given them to love them also and always buy more for themselves.

I have bought these in the past and decided to replace one of them. Ohhh I was so surprised at how sharp the knife was. I know now I need to sharpen my others.

I ordered several items for myself- friends and coworkers! I have had a potato peeler for years and decided to go with the black handle set. Trust me, nothing is wrong with my older silver one!! Recommend 100%!
