They do last a lifetime! I have had my peeler & paring knife set for over 20 years, used almost daily and they are still sharp - my favorites.

The peeler is not the quality I have experienced with other rada products. It does not grab the peeling like the ones I've used in the past. Have you had concerns with other peelers, not satisfied with this item. Love the knife but I would like a replacement on the peeler.
