The serrated slicer is indeed sharp & can cut soft items like tomato & cucumber.
But, because the blade is so thin, it flexes too much & makes cutting tougher
items like melon, squash, meat,etc a huge struggle. Can't say I would recommend
it.

I love my Rada knives! I bought a set back in 1998 from someone doing a fundraiser at work and have LOVED them ever since. The serrated slicer is always my go-to knife. I got rid of my other generic knives when I bought two more exact knives this time. My 1998 set is still like new, NEVER sharpened!
