Knives are very sharp and cut great, but when washed the handles turned to a dark blackish grey color, and leaves a black film on your hand when handling.

The knives are the best I have ever had. But hubby accidently put them in the dishwasher and handles are dark now. Does anyone know how I can remove the dark on them?
