This is a great set for a gift, or yourself! Rada knives are some of the best knives on the market! I’ve had a few of them for roughly 47 yrs! Wedding gift from my mother-in-law! These knives stand the test of time with flying colors!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I owned most of these knives and loved them all. Never had a problem. Lost them in a house fire so I reordered. Very disappointed in the silver handle cast brushed aluminum this time. They’ve never been in a dishwasher but all 4 look like the silver is coming off. Never had this problem with the ones I lost. Had I known, I would have ordered the black handled set.

Sorry that has happened, but the silver is not coming off, the dishwashing detergent was changed about 4 years ago and they took the phosphate out so this is happening due to that change. You can buy Bar Keepers Friend to help get rid of some of the gray on the handle, but if they have set in water for a length of time then that can do that as well as the dishwasher can. Be sure they are stored in a dry place.
