Third Snarl. I have a messed up hand. I can hold one of these easily. That plus the excellent edge it holds makes it a perfect small blade.

Purchased as a replacement utility knife. Much less weight and bulk than my “old faithful” Benchmade. I like the change. It’s an excellent, well made, utility knife. Not much in the way of a self-defense weapon.

I was recently hit with an auto-immune disease that left my nerves damaged. I’m now recovering although it will take a while before I’m at full strength. That being said, I wanted a knife that was built with an index finger hole that way there was no possible way my grip could slip and cause me to push my hand towards the blade while cutting something. After looking through a bunch of different knife manufacturers SOG had the snarl and it was exactly what I had in mind. I love the additional 2nd finger hole for additional grip support and no chance of me cutting myself. This is a great everyday tool for me and a perfect self-defense weapon if need be. It’s very compact and the sheath works great.

Nice knife but finger holes too small

I just bought this to add to the Sog knives i already have. As expected nice looking, good size, good weight and sharp. I do have on tiny issue, the holes needed to be larger for fingers. at mid knuckle it gets tight and taking it off is an issue. just slightly bigger holes would be perfect.

I only just bought my Snarl knife, but quickly found myself wondering why the sheath wasn’t configured to allow installation of the belt clip, in the two holes, on the opposite side of the sheath. I believe the tilted install would give additional flexibility, when trying to determine the best carry option. Placing the two holes a bit closer together, and adding a small slit for the upper retention clip would not have added to cost, if initially designed that way.
