Bought this for a side knife for camping, hunting & fishing. Nice lite weight knife, it is what it is, for the money. Had to work on the edge, felt like it just wasn’t as sharp as it should be for a brand new blade.

Cool blade shape and the handle isn't bad. My blade was sharp, but excesively chipped and had a rolled edged on part ob the bevel.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this knife a year ago and I’ve used it to baton about 5 trees about the size of your thigh and calf. Lots of hammering with a heavy rock and the knife was still like new after all that abuse, I use it daily and even took it in some sea water adventures and it holds up well to the ocean water even weeks later. I wasn’t expecting much but it’s amazing, it’s slightly better than the SOG Ace which is also a great budget knife that I’ve abused as well.

Grip is decent but should have some type of better grip around the edge of handle, it’s smooth plastic on the edge of the handle while the rest of the grip of the handle has a nice rubber grip that is easy to hold. Quality of blade is excellent.
