The knife block seems bigger than the knives. I also wish it had a kitchen scissor in the set. But I do like the steak knives that are not serrated.

I love the knives; our family has used them for over 60 years. I'm impressed with their quality, but I wish that they packaging reflected the quality of the knives better. The molded insert in the boxes that hold the knives is rather flimsy as is the box that contain the knives for the block. I took those knives out and put them in a velvet draw-string bag. But the knives are awesome, and I would buy them again without hesitation.
