We have steak knives, paring knives, small cooks knife and 2 slicers. We heard so many great things about the chefs knife and after using it absolutely love it!!
Having never owned anything but knives from the Big-Box stores I had no concept of "Fine Cutlery". The box came several days earlier than I expected and I experienced the irony of opening my new knives with my old knife. Actually sent a picture of it to my friend. Each of the knives (I ordered 4) were secured and nestled on their own cardboard sheath. I wish I could share the almost electric sensation when I slid the French Chef knife out of it's sheath and heard that almost musical "ting". I have had them three weeks or so, use them several times a day and still thrill at that "ting" when I remove the sheath. Yes, I keep them in their sheaths after drying them as I hope to pass them on to my great granddaughter. In addition to the obvious benefit to my household, I was given the opportunity to help raising funds for my young friends cheerleader squad. Thank you so much for a wonderful product...or four.
