This is a large bread knife with the larger Anthem black handle, very nice. It's long enough to cut through large round loaves. I needed a better bread knife and chose this one, but I think the 6" bread knife with the regular black handle would have suited me better. (I like the black handles because if they wind up in the dishwasher it doesn't damage the handles, unlike the brushed aluminum ones.) Yes, I have a ruler LOL, but this knife is longer than I expected. It won't fit in my drawer tray. The handle is longer and a little larger, which would be great for large hands, but my hands are small. This is simply personal preference and there's nothing wrong with the knife so I still gave it 5 stars. I haven't actually baked any bread yet to use it, but if it's like my other Rada knives it will work very well so I'm trusting it on that.
I am glad Col. Potter Cairn Terrier Rescue is using Rada as a fundraiser because we love Rada. When I see a utensil I have not seen, I give it a close look. Our favorite is your tomato knife. Not just for tomatoes.
We own steak knives, tomato knife, and ham slicer, besides the bread knife. All perform nicely and are easy to handle. The price is reasonable, and quality is high. If I have any complaint, it would be the steak knife is a trifle small for a big fist, but they perform admirably.
