Powerful punch for such a small speaker

I have had several Bose products and recently picked up the SoundLink Micro. I had been researching it since it came to the market. I was going on vacation for spring break with the family and knew we would be doing some hiking, so I used this as my excuse to buy one. I was not disappointed. The little speaker has wonderful sound. We were all surprised by the sound quality and attainable volume in the outdoors. It is a really small speaker for the sound that it generates. The battery life is good. The only thing that seems to be a weakness for Bose all-around is Bluetooth range. I don't know the science behind it, but all of my Bose products seem to have a shorter Bluetooth range that most other products. I think it is less noticeable with this speaker. In any event this is a minor issue. Functionality is great. I used it with my iPhone, and in all practical situations it worked perfectly. Overall, I rate the experience with the SoundLink Micro speaker as excellent, and I highly recommend it.

Boogie Down!

I bought my first Bose Wave Radio in 1990 for my 40th birthday! Since that time, I have bought 5 other Bose products, and have enjoyed them ALL! However, this new little Bose gem surpasses my expectations. I no longer have to be indoors to get my groove on, I can go outside and boogie down.

Unbelievable sound

Though this speaker is small there is nothing small about the sound. Clarity of the sound does not change even when I increase the volume. I love how portable this speaker is. Right now I have not been able to take it outside to see how the sound is outside. The battery life seems good, I have not had to recharge the battery yet.

I bought this so i could go places like surfing kayaking etc..!!! After a day at the Beach it stop working they say its waterproof how come it didnt worked anymore i was only sunbathing in the sea shore please Help?

Way more than I expected

I bought the speaker two weeks ago at the airport on my way to teach a class overseas. I needed a good but small/lightweight speaker to project sound from my Windows 10 laptop in a makeshift classroom to a number of students. I also use an iPhone 6S and wanted to connect the phone up, too.
What a pleasant surprise!! I have experienced great sound, uncommon ease of use, a handy app, vocal feedback, and smooth Bluetooth connectivity. Everything I could have wanted and more. Tonight, I even heard background instruments clearly for the very first time on a classical recording that I’ve been listening to for 30 years. Wow!!
Still, with all it can do I think I will keep the speaker out of the ocean and not test the waterproofing. Don’t want to risk losing such a great device and value. :-))

Great sound!

I just bought this and so far I'm very happy with the sound especially during my shower time. The reason because I'm giving only four stars is due to the incredible short and useless USB cable that came with the speaker. On top of that the cable is defective so I had to use another one. I'm surprised that Bose is cutting corners in such a component like the cable. By the way, I'm a long time customer and I have only Bose products in my house.

Packs a big punch in a small device

This little speaker is amazing! I carry it everywhere I go, in the garage, yard work, in the car, taking walks and even at work. The sound quality really stays true to Bose sound and I couldn't be more pleased with this purchase.
