Not charging

It stops charging. This is a junk! I read reviews and there are a lot of people complained about not able to charge. I trusted Bose too much and that was a mistake.

Great sound but no VOIP

Had this for over a month. Great sound but:
. VOIP calling is not, repeat NOT, supported. Regular calls are painful too. My $30 no-name Bluetooth speakers have no such problem. Bose, this is a disgrace for your company.
. You cannot turn it off-off (it goes to sleep and connects as soon as any registered Bluetooth device is in range. Bad if you have two different Bluetooth speakers.

It's great to hear that you enjoy the sound quality and the durability of the speaker but I am sorry for the disappointment caused relating to powering off and VOIP calling. The SoundLink Micro features Bluetooth Low Energy which improves the connection experience between devices. If you do not wish for the speaker to automatically connect, you could clear the pairing list by holding the Bluetooth button for 10 seconds until you hear a tone. The SoundLink Micro only supports Headset Profile (HSP) and not Hands-Free Profile (HFP). Therefore, VOIP apps including Skype, WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, etc, will be incompatible with the SoundLink Micro. NEVER SHUTS OFF!

If you want a creepy speaker that starts talking in the middle of the night or never shuts off. Not having a real power off button is awful, the connecting automatically is a great feature if you want the speaker on. But have a hard shut off!!!

I purchased this around six months ago in orange (good thing too, keep reading). Absolutely loved (still love) my speaker. I used while hiking, biking, fishing, camping, bbq’s etc... the sound has always been phenomenal for the size. The life after charge is much more than expected. However, a couple of weeks ago, I walked into my back yard and spotted something orange on the ground. I can’t say how many days it may have been outside in the rain because I found it with dried mud on it. My very lovable, hyper and naughty dog must have swiped it when I didn’t see him. Needless to say, after being chewed up, in the rain and dirt, the speaker still works great! The speaker still charges and the sound is still phenomenal! Unfortunately the strap is gone and I have to use a pen or something of same shape to press power. My only suggestion is, don’t leave in reach of naughty dogs like mine!

The micro bluetooth speaker puts out an amazingly balanced sound for its small form factor. Detail, check. Vocal / midrange accuracy and pleasing sound, check. Perfectly balanced bass, check. I got this to throw in the golf cart and can't believe how well executed this product is. A stunning innovation from Bose. Strap and versatility of placement a bonus! Buy it without hesitation. I was browsing target store and played with this speaker a bit, saw the price, and thought what the heck. It has exceeded all expectations!

High quality and weather proof

This was a quality purchase. I purchased this three months ago. I’m in the military. So I’m always in the field with extreme elements such as snow, wind, rain, and heavy dust. This speaker endured all the elements and never skipped a beat. Great bang for your buck! Keep up the great sound engineering Bose!
