Thank you for sharing your feedback, Madves. The SoundLink Micro does have a strap on the back for easy, on‑the‑go use, such as attaching it to a bag or bike. However, it isn’t designed to stand upright on its own. Its shape is intended for use while lying flat on its back or secured using the strap, so it can easily tip over if placed standing.
If you’d like recommendations for a Bose speaker that’s built to stand more securely, we'd be happy to help, just contact us using this link: https://bose.life/49SSe5s
This is the 4th Micro Bose I have purchaed. I keep one to take with me, one for my camper, one for the car, and one for the garage. They easily connect to my phone and the sound quality is fantastic.
Replacing an old mini speaker because the power port kept breaking. I’m impressed that a micro-speaker can deliver such a great range of sound. Sometimes I’ve used it with ocean sounds at bedtime; it’s like being on the beach.
I bought this speaker 5 years ago and just now bought another to have on the second floor of my house. It’s the same speaker. Perfect 5 years ago, perfect in 2025
