The speaker is designed to supply up to 6 hours when playing at usual volumes. I regret to confirm that there are no tone controls for the SoundLink Micro itself, however if you're open to trying a different Bose speaker, then our customer support team will be happy to assist you with this process, see here:

Guess order 6 of them for Xmas presents
They sound great what a bang of the buck
Battery seems to last long.
Last year I gave everybody the bigger blue tooth speakers they loved now they can put it in party mode and have stereo sound that rocks.

Bose always delivers. Big sound in a small package, deep bass etc. Better than the other brands we tested and you can pair all the Bose to play all simultaneously with the APP.
