HELP! WON'T WORK! JUST GOT IT!

Well, I can't get it to start cooking.
Trying to make soup. Passed the soup buttonsnd 30came up briefly and then panel went blank and then lights just started going around the edge of the rectangular panel. Never started cooking! Had to unplug.

I made a Asian ground beef dish with rice and it was so easy. Done in 4 minutes after sauteing vegetables and ground beef. I am going to love this I know.
