Good fan, but hard to put together

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this fan! It was challenging to put together though. We replaced our 30-year-old fan with this one and I'm glad we did.
Pros:
1) I like the style. I wasn't 100% sure when I first picked this fan, but now that it is up I really like it. It is smaller than I was expecting, but I like that. It doesn't hang as low as our last one, which is definitely a good thing.
2) The light is super bright. It was able to light up our whole living room at night. I wasn't expecting this.
3) Our old fan used to shake when it was on a medium to high speed. This one runs smoothly and quietly.

Cons:
1) It was challenging to put together. My dad is pretty handy and it took over 3 hours to put up. We did have a few challenges related to our old fan mount and wires though. We had to replace the whole mount we had in the ceiling because this one wouldn't fit. This is totally unexpected though. The biggest challenge was the wiring. We had too many wires from the ceiling to be able to use the receiver box and remote. This isn't the end of the world, but it did make the rest of the installation challenging. There's only about 1.5 inches of working space once the fan is mounted to the ceiling to hook the wires up. My dad's hands are very large and there's no way he would've been able to get the wires hooked up with that little working distance. We ended up with a stack of boxes and Styrofoam on a ladder, so it didn't have to be fully mounted when we did the wires. It is doable, but you are going to have to be handy to put this fan up. I wouldn't have been able to put it up without his help.
2) This light isn't like regular light bulbs you can replace. It's supposed to last so many hours, but I'm not 100% sure what we do after that. I'm sure it has some special replacement. Hopefully, it lasts a long time!

Overall, I really like this fan and would definitely recommend. Just be ready for the installation process.

Lovely fan

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having a blade span of 44 inches, this modern ceiling fan is perfect for your medium to large rooms such as bedrooms, dining rooms, and more! This ceiling fan comes with a different finish on each side of the blades. We decided to set up the Atlas C in our living room. The fan adds a modern and sleek look to our quarters. This is a lovely addition to our home.

Quiet and beautiful!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had my husband install this beautiful ceiling fan and the directions were very clear and direct. Once installed, this ceiling fan went beautiful with my existing decor and the wood paneling gave our living room a beautiful touch! I love that it comes with a remote so I don't have to get up everytime I want to turn it off and on, this fan isn't noisey which was a major factor for me, I love sleeping with the fan on, and I slept like a baby! I'm also very pleased with the low amount of energy this requires to use on a yearly basis, energy saving is a must. I'm very happy with the high quality and beauty of this ceiling fan. I need one for my bedroom now!

This fan blows me away

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The fan required quite a bit of assembly but It was pretty easy to put together. It is an attractive fan. It has nice features like wireless remote control and an led light. The fan works well and fits in most any decor with its clean design.

Looks nice in my dining room

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got this ceiling fan because ours was very old and the paint was peeling off. It was time for a change. This new one came with a remote, we were excited about that until we went to install it. It was much more difficult than we expected and we had to get help installing it. Anyway after it was installed we love it. It is beautiful. I had to line the light button on the remote because we have old eyes and it's easier to see without our glasses on. Someday we will get use to the remote and stop flipping the useless switch on the wall.

Do not purchase

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unless you would like to waste your time putting this ceiling fan up, please do not buy it. This fan looks absolutely beautiful and is fully controlled by remote (which is why I gave it two stars instead of one), no strings or switches at all. The ceiling fan looked very well packaged, but after taking the time to replace my previous ceiling fan, I realized the fan itself was built crooked. Besides that, it also did not work correctly if at all. When I turned it on, I could hear something inside of the motor rubbing together. At one point it wouldn't spin at all, until I pushed the blade with my hand. Only purchase this fan if you are putting it up for decor purposes only.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
